What is Raw dog food? *
Canine Caviar Raw Dog Food is an uncooked diet for Canines that features 100% Grass Fed and Grass Finished Beef muscle chunks, organ, fat and connective tissues. Canine Caviar is 80% beef muscle meat, 10% combination of kidney, liver, and heart offal, and 10% fat. Sold in 1 pound packages freshly frozen, made in small batches monthly. We do not add bone or bone meal to any of our pet food. We recommend adding an additional supplement and ERR Knuckle Bones when feeding your pet this product only.
A diet nature intended.
Yes! Raw meat is what nature intended for dogs to eat, as long as it is nutritionally balanced. Just feeding muscle meat without any organs or bones would cause nutritional deficiencies, so it’s crucial to provide food like Canine Caviar that has the right proportions of muscle, organ and fat. We recommend giving your pup an additional supplement and feeding raw Knuckle Bones for complete balanced nutrition.
How much Raw dog food should a dog eat?
As a starting point, feed your dog 2-3% of your dogs ideal adult weight. Adjust the amount according to your dogs lifestyle. A gradual topping of Caviar or Confetti on your pets kibble will transition them to a primal diet with less disruption to their digestion.
Tips for feeding raw
All raw meat contains bacteria. To minimize contamination, always wash your hands after handling raw products. We also recommend washing your pets bowl a few times a week when feeding raw. If you feed an all raw diet, make sure to add an appropriate supplement or Knuckle Bone for the added calcium and nutrition your pet needs.
